Arizona WR Doucet sprained shoulder during practice
2009 August 4
During the Cardinals’ morning session on Monday, wide receiver Early Doucet sprained his left shoulder, tearing his new nfl jersey, when he made a diving catch over the middle.
Doucet watched the afternoon practice with his left arm in a sling. He just felt lucky that he was not injured as bad as last year. He got a hamstring injury last year and was made inactive for the first four games of the season.
Doucet is competing for the No. 4 receiver spot behind Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston. At the moment he had to watch the practice with his left arm in a sling, but he said that he would be ready within one week.
