Cowboys LT Adams was fined $12,500 by league for kicking two Giants
As the Dallas Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams declined that he hurt the New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck on Sunday’s game intentionally, the NFL has made a decision to fine him $12,500 for the kicking, not only for doing it to Tuck, but also to Giants another defensive end Osi Umenyiora.
Tuck called it a “bush league play” after the game, but Adams said Monday that he did not know Tuck was hurt and it was not his fault. This kind of irresponsible remarks must have made Tuck angry and he responded on Wednesday.
“Normally, people go to the Pro Bowl for blocking people, not tripping people. So maybe he should keep his feet on the ground,” Tuck said. “We’re not going to get into a war of words here, we are going to let it be what it is, and I’ll see Flozell when we play them again.”
It was not the first time Adams has been fined for improper behavior on field. In the Cowboys opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Adams was also fined $5,000 for an unnecessary roughness penalty.
